Flood Risk Reduction Assistance for Home Elevation - Virtual Meeting on April 9 at 5:30p -Call 352-228-0358 for more information

Funding is now available through the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) in response to Hurricane Idalia for home elevations. Homeowners may have previously submitted under the Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) Swift Current Program, but the City of Crystal River is once again applying for a grant that will allow homeowners to apply for grant funds to elevate their homes.

If you have already submitted your application under the FMA Swift Current Program, please complete the additional application page confirming that you would like to submit additionally under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.

Please note that you will not receive two grants. Applying for both grants simply provides you with an additional opportunity to be reviewed for funding.

If you have not previously submitted, please see below for the complete application package.

All applications are due Monday, April 22, 2024.

To learn more about the program requirements and application process, the City will be holding a virtual meeting on Tuesday, April 9th at 5:30 pm. The meeting will be held on Microsoft Teams. You can dial into the meeting by calling 844-603-6058 and using the passcode 609576245#.

Please call 352-228-0358 if you have any questions or ask for Carly Hanson at City Hall.
