Audra Curts-Whann is the City Manager for the City of Crystal River, Florida. A Florida resident for 39 years and a Citrus County resident since 2021, she brings 25 years of experience in local government—18 of which were spent in school districts and 7 in municipal government. Known for her collaborative approach to community engagement and effective management, Audra holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Before her current role, she served as the Assistant City Manager for Sunny Isles Beach, where she successfully oversaw key departments including Public Works, Transportation, Information Technology, and Finance. Earlier in her career, Audra was the Chief Financial Officer for Martin County School District and before that Polk County School District, managing a multi-million dollar budget and earning multiple awards for excellence in financial reporting.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring the Nature Coast and spending time with her horses. She looks forward to working with the residents of Crystal River to foster a vibrant community.
