As Fire Chief, I take the responsibility of public safety with the utmost seriousness. My foremost duty is to ensure that the Crystal River Fire Department delivers the highest level of service to the community we are privileged to serve the City of Crystal River.
Throughout my over 30 years in public safety, I have remained steadfast in one principle: people always come first. The Crystal River Fire Department carries a profound responsibility to safeguard the citizens and visitors of this remarkable city. Our organization is composed of both career and volunteer firefighters who wear the same uniform, uphold the same values, and are united by a shared dedication to service, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
For more than 110 years, the Crystal River Fire Department has been an integral part of this community’s foundation. That legacy drives our ongoing commitment to excellence through rigorous training, operational preparedness, and an unwavering dedication to duty. We continually invest in our personnel, so they are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and discipline necessary to provide the safest and most effective emergency services possible.
