Our department is a combination fire department, made up of both career, part-time, and volunteer firefighters who work together seamlessly as one team. This unique blend allows us to bring together the professionalism of full-time personnel with the passion and dedication of community volunteers.
The Firehouse is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring that help is always available when it’s needed most. Our firefighters are highly trained, ready to respond to a wide range of emergencies from structure fires and medical calls to law enforcement incidents and natural disasters.
Beyond emergency response, our firefighters are truly the fabric of the community.. Whether it's participating in local events, educating children on fire safety, or assisting neighbors in times of need, we’re proud to serve not only as first responders but as trusted members of the Crystal River family.
